- Igor Stravinsky – Concerto in E-flat “Dumbarton Oaks”
- Ernest Bloch – Concerto Grosso
- J.S. Bach – Brandenburg Concerto No. 5
“Dumbarton Oaks”, the jewel of Stravinsky’s middle period, is his lighthearted, tuneful homage to Mozart. We pair it here with Bach’s timeless Brandenburg No. 5, and welcome back to our stage our dear friend Maestro Yount, one of our country’s premier harpsichordists.
A composer experiences his ultimate expression through his compositions. It is breathtaking to have something you have written performed by an orchestra.” Max Yount
