Sara Lemen, Executive Director, is a local performer and music teacher. She holds a Bachelor of Music from The Chicago Music Conservatory at Roosevelt University in Chicago and a Master of Music from NIU. Sara has performed with groups all over the Stateline and Chicagoland area. For the past decade, Sara has taught private voice and piano lessons at The Bloomingdale School of Music, The NIU Community School for The Arts and her private studio. She was the Music Director at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Rockton, IL., Sunday soloist for The First Church of Jesus Christ Scientist in Hinsdale and Elementary Music Teacher at Alpine Academy in Rockford, IL. Currently she sits on the board of Voci d’estate; Voices of Summer NFP Vocal Program and is the Executive Director of The Beloit Janesville Symphony Orchestra.

Brianna Trainor, Personnel Manager & Librarian, recently relocated to Beloit from Columbia, Missouri, where she was the Director of Education & Outreach for The Missouri Symphony, as well as Personnel Manager for both the Missouri Symphony and the Columbia Civic Orchestra. A percussionist by trade with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Percussion Performance, she has performed with 10+ professional orchestras in the Midwest including the Beloit Janesville Symphony Orchestra, Turtle Creek Chamber Orchestra, Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra, Missouri Symphony Orchestra, Columbia Civic Orchestra, and Missouri Contemporary Ballet. Brianna was previously on adjunct music faculty at the University of Missouri and Central Methodist University, and she currently teaches percussion and drum set lessons in Beloit at Creekside Music Academy.
