Experience one of most electrifying pieces in the orchestral music canon, Scheherazade by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov. Inspired by One Thousand and One Nights, a set of Middle Eastern folktales, this beloved suite features musical depictions of the sea, fantastical creatures, and more. The performance will also feature the overture to Mozart's Don Giovanni and four songs for choir and orchestra, with our featured artist, the Badger Chordhawks, a men's choral ensemble. BJSO is happy to welcome back The Aldrich Fruzen Concert Band to open the concert. You won't want to miss this annual fundraising concert for the orchestra, which will also include opportunities to purchase gift baskets, participate in a 50/50 raffle to support the orchestra, and more!
